Lydia Maille

Lydia Maille has university degrees in Translation Studies and German as a Foreign Language from the University of Graz and has worked as a German teacher at various institutions in Austria, France, Great Britain and Luxembourg. She has previously held the position of a Lector in German at the University of Bath where she taught German to undergraduate and postgraduate students from disciplines such as International Management, European Studies and Translating and Interpreting. After that, she worked as a German teacher in the Centre for Co-curricular Studies at Imperial College London. Currently Mrs Maille is working as an adjunct teacher in the Language Centre at the University of Luxembourg where she specializes in German for Academic Purposes.

Marion Krames

Marion Krames works as a free-lance teacher for German as a second language. She has taught German for academic purposes to students at the universities of Luxembourg and Trier, and also to medical doctors at hospitals. During her doctoral studies at Trier University, she examined the relationship between reading comprehension and lexical knowledge in Chinese as a foreign language. Her special interests include learner centered teaching as well as second language acquisition processes. Marion has published articles in the fields of German and Chinese as a second language.

Birgit Rössler

Birgit Rössler M.A. holds a university degree in Roman Philology, Sociology and Psychology from the Karl-Marx-University Trier. She has experience in German as a Second/Foreign Language and is working at the European Institutions and teaching at the European School. Among the University of Luxembourg, she has also taught German for Academic Purposes and German as a Foreign Language.

Tanja Denig

Tanja Denig M.A. completed postgraduate studies in German as a Foreign Language at Saarland University. She taught German and Specialized Language German at university in Slovakia, as free-lance trainer at different institutions in Berlin and at Saarland University in Saarbrücken. She is now mainly working for the European Institutions in Luxembourg and Brussels, where she is also giving classes in Specialized German for Translators and Lawyer Linguists. At the University of Luxembourg, she is teaching German for Academic Purposes.
