We are used to a borderless Europe – especially teaching, research and engineering became international and characterized by a mutual exchange. Cooperations for large and exciting construction projects, whether buildings or infrastructure, are organised on a European level. Everyone benefits from shared knowledge and cooperative developments.
Currently the Corona crisis, but not only this virus, challenges our achievements. The drawbacks are influenced by national thinking. What needs to be done to strengthen and permanently establish successful interaction in our society, especially in science, teaching and engineering – to continue the European idea for the next generation?
