In 2022, the University of Luxembourg opened a new chapter: For the first time, the institution no longer emphasises particular disciplines but focuses on interdisciplinary challenges such as health and medicine, the digital transformation, and sustainable development.
The University’s new Annual report, under the title “Highlights 2022”, provides a comprehensive overview of the University’s key areas, milestones, successes, achievements and key figures in 2022. Most importantly, it showcases the contributions of its professors, researchers, staff, and students who have shaped the University into a dynamic and vibrant institution.
In the field of medicine, for instance, the University introduced various pioneering initiatives, including the development of the new study programmes in Nursing Science and Midwifery. In the area of digitalisation, a framework agreement was signed with the Ministry of Digitalisation, aiming to boost the digital transformation of public administration.
With regards to sustainable development, the University has made a commitment to contribute to the transition towards a sustainable energy landscape in Luxembourg, demonstrating its dedication to sustainability.
