End-of-year holidays – What is open, what is closed?

The University wishes all staff and students joyous winter holidays and a happy and peaceful new year 2023!

During the period between 19 December and 8 January, the opening times of various campus services will change.

Luxembourg Learning Centre

Closed

  • from 24 December to 27 December 2022
  • 1 January 2023

Open with the usual opening hours for the Winter Break:

  • 28-30 December: 8.00 - 22.00
  • 31 December: 08.00 - 17.00

From Monday, 2 January onwards, usual opening hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08.00 - 22.00
  • Saturday and Sunday: 08.00 – 17.00

Administration

The University’s administration offices will be closed from 24 December to 27 December 2022.

Student Services (SEVE)

Office of Student Life

  • Christmas week (26 December – 30 December): Service closed
  • New Year’s Week (2 January – 6 January): Service open

Inclusion Office

  • Christmas week (26 December – 30 December): Service closed
  • New Year’s Week (2 January – 6 January): Service open (remote & in person)

Psychological Support Office

  • Christmas week (26 December – 30 December): Limited service 28 December & 29 December
  • New Year’s Week (2 January – 6 January): Service open (remote and in person)

Campus Sport and Well-being sessions will be suspended between 27 December and 9 January and will resume as of 9 January.

Office of Doctoral Studies

Closed from 20 December to 1 January

University restaurants

Belval Campus

  • Food House: closed from 26 December to 2 January
  • Food Café: closed from 26 December to 6 January
  • Food Zone: closed from 26 December to 6 January
  • Food Lab: closed from 26 December to 6 January

Kirchberg Campus

  • Altius: closed from 26 December to 6 January
  • Brasserie John's: closed from 26 December to 6 January

Limpertsberg Campus
