Today, Prof. Lucienne Blessing , vice-rector for research, is going to held a public lecture in the framework of the 13th International Symposium on Novel Aromatic Compounds

More than 350 participants from all over the world will attend the 13th International Symposium on Novel Aromatic Compounds on July 19-24 in Luxembourg. Chairman of the scientific meeting is Professor François Diederich, a professor of organic chemistry at ETH Zürich and a native of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. The Opening Ceremony, which will take place on Sunday,July 19 at 3.30 pm at the conference centre “L’Hémicycle” will be followed by the Opening Plenary Lecture of Professor Jean-Marie Lehn (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1987, ISIS/ULP, Strasbourg, France). In the framework of the Symposium, Professor Lucienne Blessing, vice-rector of the University of Luxembourg, will deliver a public lecture on the subject “Research in Luxembourg: small but beautiful” (Thursday, 23 July, 5.30 pm). This public lecture is open to the broad public.
