The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) and the Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat (BCEE) have entered a long term partnership agreement to promote research on secure, reliable and trustworthy ICT systems and services.
BCEE will contribute resources to joint research in areas such as Access Control Polices and Cloud Computing. “BCEE is looking for academic excellence and innovation in ICT and security. We are delighted to start a close and long term partnership with SnT as a dynamic multidisciplinary research centre that is particularly sensible to the challenges of the national economy" states Jean Hilger, Senior Vice President of the State and Savings Bank of Luxembourg.
BCEE is the sixth member joining the SnT Partnership Program. Prof. Björn Ottersten, Director of SnT, one of the two interdisciplinary centres at the University of Luxembourg, expressed his deep appreciation of this cooperation. “We are proud to welcome BCEE to our partnership program. As a major actor in the banking and financial sector in Luxembourg, BCEE bring's invaluable experience and expertise that will help shape the future of SnT” says Prof. Björn Ottersten, Director of SnT.
Partners contribute to SnT at all levels with representation on the governing board, in the operations through the industrial advisory board, and by contributing resources in projects.
