Objectives:
- Provide the skills enabling to achieve the required missions and provide the appropriate solutions to ensure information security for an organisation.
- Provide organisational and management bases for designing and implementing a security information management responding to human and technical risks while complying with legal requirements.
- To make students familiar with the practical and theoretical elements of excellence acquired during training and systematically analysed within relevant use cases.
- Provide the technical basis necessary to understand the potential vulnerabilities of a corporate information system and be able to ensure a technological information security watch.
- Enable students to combine both management and operationalisation, producing value for the organisation in terms of information security
Learning Outcomes :
- Select information, tools, methods and core competencies necessary for professional and maintained practice in the art of information security management.
- Deduce and analyse the actual and relevant guiding criteria of information security globally and tailored for one company.
- Identify relevant sources and interpret the descriptive information in the context of one's company regarding legal, organisational and managerial aspects.
- Define, classify and identify the necessary elements for the design of security solutions integrating at the same time management and technology. Plan, design and implement these solutions.
- Evaluate an existing security situation and proposed solutions; validate, recommend and implement improvements.
- List the specific features of human risk and communication in the field of information security; analyse and deduce the elements of solutions to implement.
- Communicate unambiguously, and exhaustively conclusions and the rationale driving them to diverse audiences.
- Be responsible and professional actors concerning security and privacy. Be able to understand the social and ethical consequences linked to data protection and the importance of company compliance to the regulatory framework.
