Will my business idea work?

In this workshop, Dr. Pouyan Ziafati will touch a critical question: how can I know whether my idea is a real business opportunity?

Most opportunities and ideas are not as golden as they seem to be, as the business failure statistics illustrates. Building a business from an idea and opportunity is so time consuming and difficult. That’s why before starting a venture, it’s critical to make sure that our idea is worthy of all the effort. In this talk, Pouyan and Aida touch a critical question: how can I know whether my idea is a real business opportunity? We describe a framework to provide a structure for evaluating a business opportunity. The talk is based on what we learnt in the 2016 Entrepreneurship Summer School of London Business School.

Pouyan and Aida are founders of LuxAI, a social robotic spin-off of SnT which was launched following a FNR proof-of-concept project. Pouyan has a PhD in the area of artificial intelligence and robotics and Aida is a medical doctor. They are young entrepreneurs who are actively learning about business and enjoy sharing what they learn with like minded people.
