Model-based Development of Robot Perception Architectures

We are interested in the design and development of adapative Robot Perception Architectures (RPAs) processing sensory input to output which is relevant for the task on hand. We investigate methods, models, and tools enabling the design and development of task-oriented RPAs. The research will lead to RPAs ensuring, in a systematic manner, an appropriate reaction when events concerning robot capabilities (e.g., sensor errors), task requirements, and environment features occurs.
