RESEARCH PROFILE
Dr. Narsimlu Kemsaram is a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Space Robotics (SpaceR) Research Group, SnT Centre at the University of Luxembourg, Kirchberg, Luxembourg. He is currently working in the "SESAME: Secure and Safe Multi-Robot Systems," funded by the EU-H2020, and "5G-Sky: Interconnecting the Sky in 5G and Beyond – A Joint Communication and Control Approach", funded by FNR-CORE. In addition, he has worked in various Aerospace & Defence industries.
Key research areas are Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Deep Neural Networks with Real-World Applications for Autonomous Vehicles, Multi-Robot Systems, Multi-UAV Systems, and Multi-Rover Systems.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Dr. Narsimlu received his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India, on the topic of "Design and Development of Autonomous Visual Tracking Algorithm for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles". During his Ph.D., he worked as an Assistant Researcher with the Aerospace Information Technology, Department of Computer Science, Division of Space Technology at the Julius Maximilian University, Würzburg, Germany, on the research project of “An Autonomous Sensor Network for the Detection and Observation of Meteors (ASMET)”, funded by the European Union (EU). After his Ph.D., he worked as a Researcher with the Mobile Perception Systems Research Lab, Signal Processing Systems Research Group, at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, Netherlands, on the research project of “Integrated Cooperative Automated Vehicles (i-CAVE): Sensing, Mapping, and Localization”, funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).
He received his Master of Business Administration degree in Aerospace (Aerospace MBA) from the Toulouse Business School (TBS), Toulouse, France, and from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, India, including international modules in the Toulouse (France), Bangalore (India), Brussels (Belgium), and Seattle (USA). He received his Master of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. He received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, India. He has published various scientific papers and articles in International Conferences and Journals.
He joined the Space Robotics (SpaceR) Research Group headed by Prof. Dr. Miguel Angel Olivares Mendez. His office is located in the JFK Building, E01-125.
