The 2023 edition of the Summer Space Festival will take place in Luxembourg! This year, the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) is collaborating with the Summer Space Festival to celebrate their fifth anniversary.
The two-day event showcases accessible and educational activities on the topic of Space & Science. The programme includes unique interactions with astronauts and space experts. On the first day (May 5), the event is addressed to students and schools and will include i.a. participative workshops, inspirational speeches, roundtable discussions, and fun activities with astronauts. On the second day (May 6), the general public is invited to conferences with a focus on space for life, a booth village with companies, universities, and astronauts as well as fun activities.
It is the mission of the Summer Space Festival to inspire the next generation of space enthusiasts, to inform young people about career opportunities, and to promote space innovation in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg by highlighting interregional and European collaborations. The event also raises awareness of the importance of space in our daily lives.
