Co-founded by astrophysicist and musician Brian May, Asteroid Day is organised by the Asteroid Foundation, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organization.

SnT was among the partners of this year’s Asteroid day. The event aims at raising awareness around asteroid research, this year featured topics such as the acceleration in the rate of asteroid discoveries, the imminent arrival of samples from asteroid Ryugu and Bennu, the exciting preparations for the joint US-Europe mission to binary asteroid Didymos, and much more.
