The 16th edition of the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) will be held soon. This edition will focus on data quality and its impact on research output.
During this conference, Dr Marietjie Botes, Research Associate at IRiSC at SnT will speak on 19 April at the Data quality and Trust workshop at 15:00. She’ll identify the commonalities, differences and gaps between the various data governance regulatory frameworks. Then, she’ll propose practical guidelines to harmonise and synchronise these data quality elements which may be used as international guidelines when processing data to ensure a standard of quality that can be easily integrated, trusted, and used globally, without hindering data creation and analysis.
