The expansion of humanity’s presence beyond Earth could enable a new era of sustainable, inclusive and efficient space exploration. 

During this webinar in collaboration with Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), we will explore the crucial importance of the Moon for the future of space exploration together with legal, economic and technical experts from Space Generation Advisory Council, Luxembourg Space Agency and SnT (University of Luxembourg). 

Speakers: 

  

is a Policy Officer at the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) where he is supporting the development of local talents through educational programmesand research projects. He is also the Luxembourgish delegate at the European Space Agency (ESA) in the Science Programme Committee (SPC) and the Program Board of Human Spaceflight, Microgravity and Exploration (PB-HME) overseeing the European Exploration Envelop Programme (E3P). 

Miguel Olivares-Mendez is Assistant Professor on Space Robotics and Senior Research Scientist at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust of the University of Luxembourg. He leads the SpaceR research group, the LunaLab and the Zero-Gravity Lab. 

Paolo Pino is a PhD Researcher in Chemical Engineering, member of Space Generation Advisory Council’s Space Exploration Project Group. His work in the space field is mostly focused on Moon exploration and development, with special attention to in-situ resources utilization, in-situ manufacturing and lunar economy. His work has been recognized by the Italian Space Agency and shared in multiple international conferences and seminars.
