The Department of Media, Telecommunications and Digital Policy, a part of the Ministry of State of Luxembourg, is organising the “Connecting Tomorrow” conference on 5 – 7 October 2021 at LuxExpo.
The event will cover many communications-related topics from 5G to broadband technologies and beyond.
At SnT, we carry out multiple research projects related to 5G. We will showcase our expertise and latest achievements at our physical booth during the event.
Prof. Symeon Chatzinotas, co-head of the research group SIGCOM, will be speaking at the event on 6 October on “All we need to know about 5G deployment and electromagnetic radiation (EMF) – What is it and how does it affect us?”.
As part of the event, SnT, together with LIST, is organising a workshop that will give an overview on the current status of the 5G rollout in Luxembourg, and will introduce two projects under development by LIST and SnT. These projects will illustrate the role of R&D in the deployment of future communication systems.
