Dendroidal sets – from basic results to applications
Abstract: We will recall the definition of dendroidal sets as a generalization of simplicial sets. We will discuss the combinatorial aspects and the three model structures (homotopy theories) making dendroidal sets a model for infinity-operads, infinite loop spaces and connective spectra, respectively. In the end, we will present a new result that multiposets model connective spectra, which is obtained by the introduction of the subdivision of dendroidal sets. Further applications in the theory of operads may be discussed depending on the interest of the audience.
