Maximilian Klein joined the Department of Social sciences as a PhD student in June 2021.

His research interests include philosophy of education and science, social learning as well as social-ecological systems. Maximilian is doing a PhD under the supervision of Dr Ariane König. In his PhD project he is evaluating the content, results and impact of Aktioun Nohaltegkeet, a virtual platform for sustainability initiatives, while also exploring new concepts, methods and tools to realise the platform’s potential for social learning. Maximilian completed his MEd in English and Philosophy at the University of Trier in 2021.
