Henriette Heimbach is a PhD Researcher at the Institute of Political Science. She is working on interparliamentary relations between France and Germany focussing on the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly. Her research is supervised by Dr. Anna-Lena Högenauer.
Prior to joining the University of Luxembourg, she has been working as a Project lead for the Franco-German Dialogue Series at the Jacques Delors Centre of the Hertie School in Berlin. Before that, she worked as a policy advisor on Franco-German relations and European politics for a Member of the German parliament as well as a scientific collaborator for several research institutes such as the Centre virtuel de la connaissance sur l'Europe in Luxembourg and the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin.
Henriette holds a Master's degree in European Studies from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt/Oder, Germany and a second Master's degree in European politics from the University of Strasbourg, France. In her Bachelor studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin, she studied European Ethnology and Political Economy.
