Céline Dujardin is a post-doctoral researcher at the Integrative Research Unit on Social and Individual Development (INSIDE) at the Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts and Education.
In 2015, she obtained her PhD in Social Sciences at the University of Luxembourg. The topic "Parenting in vulnerable situation: trajectories of family resilience?" outlines difficult family situations in Luxembourg, especially in the domain of child protection. Since then, she has been involved in several projects, such as “Bilan de l’éducation précoce” in collaboration with the Ministère de l’Education Nationale, de l’Enfance et de la Jeunesse. Furthermore, she worked at the PraxisBüro on different networking activities and arising teaching programs.
Her research interests concern vulnerable populations and their relation to the field of social intervention.
Currently, she is Principal Investigator of the ongoing FNR-funded CORE project SOHOME (Social Housing and Homelessness). Her teaching activities are mainly in the Bachelor en Sciences Sociales et Educatives.
Céline Dujardin is member of the International Association of Training and research in Family Education (AIFREF – Association Internationale de Formation et de Recherche en Education Familiale). AIFREF is an international association of researchers and practitioners who work in the fields of family education intervention and research. The members study the progress and challenges of research and innovation in family education, with the aim of promoting new paradigms, analyzing new concepts and disseminating new intervention methodologies. Céline Dujardin is member since 2011 and a representative of AIFREF Luxembourg since 2013. Therein, she is interested in family education training in the professional field of the social and educational area of Luxembourg and in family education research on parenting and in general.
