Serge Allegrezza will discuss the difficulties faced by applied social scientists to analyze the consequences of the “polycrisis” (geo political, social inequalities, climate change) and to help decision makers to craft policies which alleviate the burden on the less favored citizens, and preserves the competiveness of the country. I will underline the difficulties of providing the right numbers and simulations in time.
He will give the example of the last “Tripartite” agreements struck by the government and social partners in March and September 2022 where himself and STATEC have been heavily involved.
