Ukrainian refugee crisis tests humanitarian and integration policy

In a new Research Note, researchers from the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), the University of Luxembourg and the European Migration Network (EMN) discuss the issues related to the massive inflow of displaced persons from Ukraine and the need for monitoring its consequences and implementing a solid evidence-based action plan to improve refugees’ integration.

The Research Note refers more specifically to the situation of Ukrainian women and children displaced by the war. The note is authored by Michel Beine, Birte Nienaber and Adolfo Sommaribas of the University of Luxembourg, and by Frédéric Docquier and Joël Machado of LISER.
