Gilles Cuniberti is Professor of Comparative Law and Private International Law at the University of Luxembourg. Previously, he taught in France and practiced on a part-time basis in the Paris office of a leading English firm. He was also a visiting faculty at various universities in the United States and Asia, including Columbia Law School and National University of Singapore.

Since 2019, he has been the president of the European Association of Private International Law and a regular contributor to its blog.

His primary teaching and research interests are international commercial law, international litigation and arbitration, comparative law and the conflict of laws. He is the author of eleven books and numerous articles published primarily in French and English.
