Felix joined the FDEF as a Postdoctoral researcher for the INDIGO Project, supervised by Professor Herwig Hofmann and Professor Dirk Zetzsche, in March 2022. His research involves law and technology issues with a particular interest in consumer contract law, financial regulation, and platform governance as well as using empirical and comparative methods.

Before he joined the University of Luxembourg, Felix was a Lecturer in Law at different Colleges and the Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford. He taught Contract Law, Tort, and EU Law to undergraduate students at Oxford for more than four years; he continues teaching at Oxford part-time. Felix was also a Guest Lecturer in Law and Technology (M2) at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in early 2021 and early 2022, Research Assistant to Dr Geneviève Hellering and Professor Horst Eidenmüller, an Associate Editor at the Oxford Business Law Blog, and a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law.

Felix read law at undergraduate level at the Universities of Maastricht and Glasgow and holds a Master and a PhD in Law from the University of Oxford. His Master and PhD thesis, supervised by Professor Stephen Weatherill and Professor Dorota Leczykiewicz, focused on regulating e-commerce platforms.
