Chrysa Alexandraki joined the DTU REMS as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Happold in November 2017. Prior to her arrival, Chrysa studied law in Greece (LL.B., 2014) and completed her LLM studies in Public International Law at the University of Oslo. She is a qualified lawyer registered with the Thessaloniki Bar Association. During her LLM studies, she was conducting research at PluriCourts, the Centre for the study of the legitimate roles of the judiciary in the global order. Following her studies, Chrysa acquired professional legal experience by practicing law in both in Greece and the UK, while working as a contract lawyer at EY. Her PhD research focuses on the dispute settlement and enforcement system under the climate change regime in a post-Paris agreement era.
