The most comprehensive index in the literature of psychology, indexing more than 1,200 English-language journals and reports and providing descriptive, nonevaluative abstracts. Formerly published in print as Psychological abstracts (ceased with 2006). Coverage has varied widely over the history of this title, extending back to 1872 in part. Subject categories arrange summaries following the Thesaurus of psychological index terms. |

The reference database for literature and audio-visual media (Zentrum für Psychologische Information und Dokumentation /ZPID at the University of Trier) contains references and abstracts from publications in the area of psychology from German-speaking areas, as well as audio-visual media. PSYNDEX contains two database segments: PSYNDEX Literature and Audio-visual Media with records of psychological publications from authors in the German-speaking countries, audio-visual media, and extensive descriptions of intervention programs; PSYNDEX Tests with stories of tests in use in the German-speaking countries.
