Second Erasmus+ International Staff Week

From 01 to 05 April 2019, the University of Luxembourg’s International Relations Office organised the second international staff training week, for staff members from its partner institutions both within and outside of the EU.

The purpose of the week was to discuss ongoing collaborations, to share knowledge and exchange best practices between International Relations Offices, but also to provide opportunities for networking.

The main topics of the week were:

  1. Erasmus+ programmes, including the new “European Universities” project and the new programme 2021-2027 presented by the European Commission.
  2. Digitalisation, including the Online Learning Agreement project, Erasmus Without Paper and the European Student Card initiative.
  3. Communication, including an overview of social media at uni.lu.
  4. Luxembourg Learning Centre 

The programme also included getting to know the three faculties and the interdisciplinary centres, as well as cultural and networking activities.

Participants came from 19 universities in 12 different countries from Albania, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Russia, Senegal, Turkey and Ukraine. 

Following the success of this first and second edition, the University of Luxembourg looks forward to its 3rdInternational Staff Training week in the spring 2020.
