From 27 to 31 May, three representatives of the International Relations Office and the Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts and Education represented the University of Luxembourg at the NAFSA Conference in Washington D.C.

NAFSA is the Association of International Educators, the world’s largest non-profit association dedicated to international education and exchange. The NAFSA Annual Conference and Expo, which took place end of May in Washington D.C., brought together higher education professionals from 100 different countries.

It was a great occasion to discuss and meet with our partners all over the world and to explore options to further extend the University of Luxembourg’s network of partner universities. During one week, our representatives promoted the University and also the country with the support of the Embassy of Luxembourg to the United States during the Country Fair organised in the framework of this conference.

On 30 May 2019, a reception was organised at the Embassy of Luxembourg, in the presence of the Ambassador of Luxembourg in Washington D.C. H.E. Sylvie Lucas. This reception was dedicated to our academic partners in order to further deepen our international relations. 50 people were present.
