News from within the International Relations Office

The International Relations Office has recently undergone some organizational changes and we would like to take this opportunity to present our team members and their responsibilities.

Stéphanie Schott has been promoted to the position of Team leader after having assumed this role on an interim basis for a year. Her tasks include, among others, support and advice to the Vice-Rector for Doctoral Education and Training, Gender, and International Relations  on international policy and strategy, scrutinizing international interuniversity agreements, advice on Erasmus+ projects and representation of the International Relations Office in international networks and at international education events.

Euraxess Luxembourg continues to form part of the International Relations Office, with Barbara Daniel as National Coordinator of the Euraxess Luxembourg network. The main task of Euraxess is to promote, support and facilitate researchers’ mobility and career development across Europe, and to provide information and assistance to mobile researchers. Barbara is supported by Dana Pleskotova, who dedicates 60% of her time to Euraxess.

Dana is also in charge of promotion and support to the organisation of the University’s Global exchange programme.

Stéphanie Notarnicola takes care, among others, of agreements for joint supervision of thesis and of International Credit Mobility within the Erasmus+ programme. She is your contact if you are interested in carrying out a staff mobilityat one of our partner universities outside Europe.

Alison Vermeulen responsibilities include staff mobility within Europe, the administrative follow-up of international agreements as well as Erasmus+ project applications and project agreements and communications for the International Relations Office.

Furthermore, Mareike Wagner as local UniGR officer is also associated to the International Relations Office. She is your contact for any questions related to the University of the Greater Region network.
