Social support initiatives

Counselling and mental support via Umatter
The Umatter-platform of the University proposes a range of support services (counselling, mental health) to students and members of staff. If a person wishes to consult the platform for guidance, please contact ukraine@uni.lu.

Additionally, Campus Life activities are open to registered students including guest students. Please consult Student Participation / Campus Life or contact ukraine@uni.lu for more information.

Legal Information and support for Ukrainian nationals and their families
The European Migration Network Luxembourg has published a website dedicated to Ukrainian nationals with the latest up-to-date information in English, Ukrainian and Russian on procedures for asylum requests and temporary protection status. The information links provide useful legal information for Ukrainian nationals and students residing in Luxembourg to regularise their stay. For those who are coming to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, this website provides contact details and legal information on how to ask for temporary or international protection.

Donations

Collection of emergency items
The Conscious and Cultural Student Association (CCSA) collects donations for Ukraine. Staff and students can place items in the locker cabinets on the first floor of the MAE that are then collected and distributed by humanitarian associations. More information | Contact
