The Doctoral Programme in Mechanical/Electro and Communications (ME&C) Engineering is part of the Doctoral School in Science and Engineering (DSSE)

The interdisciplinary programme of the Mechanical/Electro and Communications Engineering covers key aspects of a complete product life cycle. A principal common theme of our research projects is “construction and design” of products and systems with the focus on sustainability. In order to account for respective specialisations of PhD candidates, the research programme relies on two pillars: Mechanical engineering, Electro and communications engineering.

The doctoral (ME&C)programme combines several areas of engineering and its scope is great as engineering combines many multiphysics problems. Therefore, it encourages researchers in their effort to work on research projects being an interaction of different engineering topics.
