Doctoral School in Economics, Finance and Management (DSEFM)

In the framework of the doctoral school, doctoral candidates are required to validate min. 20 ECTS of courses and training modules.

The training programme combines specialised training related to the research topic of the doctoral candidate, as well as broader disciplinary, interdisciplinary training. A minimum of 5 ECTS of courses in transferable skills are required for graduation.

During the PhD thesis period, the DSEFM provides doctoral courses to ensure that PhD students meet the research frontier in Economics, Finance and Management. DSEF requires that students validate 20ECTS (including Transferable Skills Courses).

DSEF doctoral courses are offered by regular faculty members and external researcher as well as outstanding guest professors. The course offer changes regularly, all courses and details can be found on our website.

PhD students also attend doctoral courses, summer schools and other training opportunities in other institutions. Exchanges with other Universities abroad are funded by DSEF. Past exchanges included NYU Stern, Cornell University, Oxford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, among others.
