The cancer research team from the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine at the University of Luxembourg took part in the 2021 edition organised by the Fondation Cancer.

Due to the pandemic, the Fondation Cancer held its Relais pour la Vie virtually on 27 and 28 March 2021. Everybody could participate in the race by running, cycling, or walking. The goal for each individual or team was to clock a combined time of 24 hours.

25 members from the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine (DLSM) participated in this edition and collected 1305€. “Because cancer is not confined, because research is essential, and because hope must continue to shine, it is important to support cancer research”, comments Elisabeth Schaffner-Reckinger, team captain of this edition.
