Berta Rato has been appointed Strategic Advisor to the Dean, a position that was created recently.
Ms. Rato, who has until now held the position of Team Leader for Research Facilitators, will support the Decanal Team in a number of key projects and will help in creating and developing opportunities for the Faculty with potential external partners. Following the request from the Board of Governors in 2020 to develop the Department of Engineering, and in line with the Engineering strategy approved in February 2020, one of the first missions of the new Strategic Advisor will be turned towards this objective.
With an experience of 12 years in the University, of which three as a Team Leader, Ms. Rato is considered a perfect fit for the role.
