Since October 1, our young medical specialists in training have started their clinical internships in the various hospitals and offices of general practitioners of the country. We currently have 24 “doctors in the process of specialisation, MEVS” registered at the University of Luxembourg.

On Thursday, November 17, the Vertigo Clinic team at the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch (CHEM) welcomed the administrators of the Diploma of Specialised Studies in Medicine (DES) training at the University of Luxembourg.

Dr. Alexander Bisdorff, programme director of the DES in Neurology, appreciated the initiative of the University to have organized this 1st evaluation of training sites in the context of quality management of 3rd cycle studies in medicine.

The visit to the site strengthened the link between the academic aspect and the clinical aspect of the training and apprehended the daily life of the MEVS clinical internship with a view to constantly improve the quality of teaching.
