Layla Battistutta is a PhD student working at the Institute for Health and Behaviour as part of the research unit INSIDE.
She completed her Master’s degree in developmental psychology at the University of Strasbourg (France), focusing particularly on children and adolescents with specific learning disorders. Her projects so far have investigated self-efficacy feelings in dyslexic adolescents and she is currently working on her PhD thesis exploring emotion regulation and coping strategies as potential risk- or resilience-promoting factors in mental health outcomes in youth with dyslexia.
Among her research interests are positive youth development in adolescents with specific learning disabilities, executive functions, social and emotional competence, coping abilities as well as resilience.
