DTU REMS

The Doctoral Training Unit on Enforcement in Multi-Level Regulatory Systems (DTU REMS) is a joint research programme of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF), the Faculty of Language and Literature, Humanities, Arts and Education (FLSHASE) and the Max Planck Institute Luxembourg for Procedural Law (MPI Luxembourg).

It focuses on the way enforcement in multi-level regulatory systems is designed and functions, and addresses specific enforcement challenges.

The DTU REMS concentrates on cross-cutting problems in a number of specific policy areas:

  • banking & financial law,
  • IT & satellite communications law,
  • international trade & investment law,
  • dispute resolution.

It analyses enforcement challenges in and across different legal disciplines (including, in addition to the above policy areas, criminal, administrative, EU, international and human rights law) as well as from a political science perspective.
