Morgan Raux is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Luxembourg. He is a contributing scholar to the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University and an associate member at Aix-Marseille School of Economics. He studied applied economics and Big Data in Marseille and received a PhD. from Aix-Marseille University in 2020. He has been a doctoral researcher at the Paris School of Economics and a visiting research fellow at University College London.

His research focuses on on the causes and consequences of skills shortages. He investigates the effect of firms' hiring difficulties on firms’ productivity and innovation. He also studes the human resources strategies implemented by firms to cope with their recruitment challenges and focuses especially on the recruitment of foreign skilled workers. Another stream of his research documents the effect of cultural and linguistic differences on the labor market integration of immigrant workers and students’ test scores.
