Mireia joined the FDEF in January 2023. Mireia’s research focuses on accounting scandals and is supervised by Prof. Anke Muessig.
 
Before joining the University of Luxembourg, Mireia worked as Lead internal auditor for Atos. Prior to that she worked as external auditor for PwC.
Mireia holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University Pompeu Fabra, a Master's degree in Advanced Accounting and Audit from the Barcelona School of Management and a Master’s degree in Publishing from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.
