Interdisciplinary Space Master

Admissions requirements

Candidates for admission must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in physics, mathematics, electrical or aerospace engineering (academic), computer science, or other natural science or equivalent experience. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in another domain but with several years of experience in space, aerospace, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or robotics engineering are also encouraged to apply.
  • Grades of 85% or higher in their technical courses
  • Toefl (only if you are not from a native English speaking country) with a total score of 100 or above and no score less than 25 in any single skill or B2 (comprehension and speaking) in CEFR system or overall IELTS >= 7 and no score < 7 in any single skill.

The Interdisciplinary Space Master is open to 20 students

Pre-Applications (before 01. February):

If you are interested, we invite you to send us already before the start of the official application period the following documents in PDF format to the address ISMapplications@uni.lu

  • a copy of the diploma or the certificate of achievement (with apostille or double legalisation)
  • a copy of all the transcripts obtained for the diploma (with apostille or double legalisation)
  • a proof of proficiency in English if you are not a native English speaker results of a CEFR-related, TOEFL or IELTS test.
  • a motivation letter
  • two letters of reference
  • and a curriculum vitae

The first two documents above must be provided with a certified translation if they are written in a language other than French, German or English. Based on the pre-application, we can already pre-select suitable candidates, before they proceed with the official mandatory online application.
