Doctoral Programme in Computer Science and Computer EngineeringThe Doctoral programme in Computer Science and Computer Engineering is part of the Doctoral School in Science and Engineering (DSSE) The Doctoral Programme in Computer Science and Computer Engineering (DP-CSCE) provides an excellent environment for pursuing doctoral studies in computer science and computer engineering at an internationally competitive level and in broad interdisciplinary application. The DP-CSCE is the joint doctoral programme of the Computer Science and Communications Research Unit (CSC) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) Candidates successfully terminating doctoral education at the DP-CSCE will be awarded either a Ph.D. degree (Dr.) in Informatics or a Ph.D. degree (Dr.) in Engineering. The degree is depending on the qualification of the doctoral candidate and/or on the nature of her/his research work. The main research areas concern: Communicative Systems, Information Systems, Intelligent & Adaptive Systems, Security & Cryptology, and Software & Engineering. ECTS training modules can be found on Moodle The list of research topics currently under investigation, with reference to the corresponding Ph.D. supervisors, may be found under Research Topics (see Menu left). |
