Today, as the world celebrate the International Women’s Day we would like to recognise all women working at the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

Since 2021 and the approval of our Gender Equality Policy, the University is committed to provide a better work environment for women in research and administration. The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences is supporting the development of our University in its effort towards gender equality.

Many members of our Faculty take part in this journey through their research projects or personal involvement in various initiatives. This week, the University just launched the Advance Mentoring Programme to support young female researchers in their career development. Once again, we can be proud that members from our Faculty responded to the call to share their experience and support the initiative.

Head of the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences, Prof. Dr. Anna Kornadt explains why she became a mentor.
