2nd International Conference on Sustainability, Human Geography and Environment 2018 (ICSHGE18)

LCL Director, Prof. Benny Mantin talked about sustainability from supply chain perspective and the role of greening and information in supply chains at the ICSHE 2018 Conference in Krakow.

Incentives play a role in developing meaningful policies. A transition into more environmentally friendly transportation is necessary while keeping in mind multi-modality and bottlenecks. Innovation is going to disrupt supply chains and alter flows of goods.

The ICSHGE conference targets individuals and organisations to exchange and share their experiences, novel ideas and research findings regarding all aspects of sustainability, human geography, environment and interdisciplinary societal studies – and discuss the practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted during such experimentation.

Almost 100 entrepreneurs, researchers, officials and other stakeholders made this conference a great networking opportunity.

This presentation of Prof. Mantin goes in line with the LCL research and education projects.

Please note:

  • our upcoming annual eXplore Conference is dedicated this year to green supply chain (12 March 2019)
  • our executive education programme focuses on top supply chain trends in 2019 (13, 14, 15 March 2019). This covers sustainable supply chain, blockchain and supply chain resilience and mitigation.
