LSCM master student wins “Shark Tank” Competition at MIT

Three exciting weeks on the Supply Chain Conference at the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

During this so-called Independent Activities Period (IAP), students from the Master in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) attend seminars taught by supply chain experts as well as presenting their Master thesis research and working with students from across the  Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Global Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence (SCALE) Network. This network features the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as well as five sister centres around the world, including the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

During the “Shark Tank” Competition, the students pitch an entrepreneurial idea in groups, consisting of members of different centres. Catalina Perez Leiva’s team has been awarded with the first prize for a 3D printing project facilitating aircraft MRO.
