The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance’s ISO certification for its administration and the administrative management of its activities was renewed at the start of May for the third consecutive time. The FDEF has been ISO certified since 2010 and now fulfils the latest ISO 9001:2015 standard, showing the successful implementation of its Quality Management System (QMS) and dedication to quality assurance. Through the QMS, the Faculty is committed to improving relations with internal (students, Faculty staff and central administrative services) and external partners by understanding and meeting their needs and expectations. The ISO certification requires a substantial amount of self-documentation and is accompanied by regular internal and external audits, leading the Faculty to continuously improve the quality of its administration. “The certification by ESCEM asbl is a testament to the FDEF’s administrative team,” commented the Dean, Prof. Stefan Braum. “I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge their outstanding work as well as their cooperation in regular audits and the quality assurance process.” Quality assurance is a central mission of the FDEF, which in 2015 also received accreditation for five of its Master programmes by international accreditation agency FIBAA. |
