The Luxembourg Network of Ukrainian Researchers (LURN) is gathering for the third time for trainings, discussions and celebration of Ukrainian Christmas on 9 December 2022.

The third meeting of the participants of the Luxembourg Network of Ukrainian Researchers (LURN) will take place on 9 December 2022 from 8:30 to 13:00 at the University of Luxembourg on the Belval campus, Porte des Sciences 11, L-4365 Esch-sur-Alzette, in the C²DH Open Space.

The program has two sections. In the first part, trainings and discussions offered by Sandra Camarda, Marion Rutz, Herve Muller, Andreas Fickers and Philippe Delfosse on the topics of goal-setting in science, academic communication, resume writing, cultural differences between Western and Eastern European academic traditions and mentroing. In the second part of the event, invited Luxembourg colleagues present to the Ukrainian researchers their scientific communities, research centers and funding opportunities.

The official part ends with a presentation by folklorist Oksana Karbashevska about the Ukrainian “Shchedryk”, known as “Carol of the Bells” by Mykola Leontovich.

The unofficial part includes a Ukrainian Christmas party with homemade meals, live music and an introduction to Ukrainian artists Oxana Berezhna and Michael Levchenko.
