Educational Measurement and Applied Cognitive Science (EMACS)

EMACS is an interdisciplinary research unit with specialists in educational science, psychometrics, assessment, psychology, sociology and information technology.  
Approximately 55 researchers are affiliated with EMACS.

EMACS’ main objective is to contribute to the growing body of knowledge related to cognitive science as applied to education and learning, mainly through the construction and use of new assessment and learning tools.

EMACS conducts research in the following domains, which are mainly linked to the  FLSHASE's Research Priorities :
