Cooperation agreement signed with the University of Cologne

On March 9th , a delegation from the University of Cologne headed by the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gudrun Gersmann and accompanied by Dr. Susanne Berger, Personal Advisor and Ms. Katrin Kaiser, Study Advisor, paid an official visit to the Belval Campus.
The aim of the visit was the signature of an academic agreement aiming to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation. Both Universities have been involved in common research projects in Education, Systems Biomedicine, Chemistry, History, Philosophy, Geography and Computer Science. The signing of the cooperation agreement makes the partnership official and opens the door to new collaborations.
The delegation was welcomed by our Vice-President for Doctoral training, International Relations and Gender, Prof. Dr. Tonie Van Dam, Ms. Cassandra Mikicic, Personal Advisor to the Vice-President, Ms. Stéphanie Schott, International relations Specialist and Associate Prof. Dr. Claudine Kirsch.
The University of Cologne was established in 1388. Today, it is one of the leading German research Universities. It has over 48.000 students distributed among 6 Faculties. Find more information under the following link.
