Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance

The Certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance is designed to educate and train future professionals in inclusive finance matters.

Curriculum

The curriculum was developed by the ADA Chair in Financial Law (Inclusive Finance) in cooperation with ADA to meet the continuous need for talented and well-trained specialists in the growing field of inclusive finance.

The programme combines traditional financial law with inclusive finance and development policy subjects such as FinTech for inclusive finance, mobile payment systems, client protection management, and microfinance investment funds.

Teaching staff includes leading academics from the University of Luxembourg and other universities, as well as industry specialists with extensive experience and networks in their subject areas. Participants will be in close contact with teaching staff and have the opportunity to meet seasoned professionals from regional, development and private banks, law and consultancy firms, as well as investment firms.

The curriculum is made up of 72 teaching units (TU), taught full-time over a period of two weeks in Luxembourg. During this short but intense period participants from around the world will come together to work on cutting-edge topics relating to inclusive finance, each of them with their respective knowledge.

In order to successfully complete the Certificate, students will need to work on case studies and present their results to the faculty. Class attendance in Luxembourg is mandatory.
