New FDEF representation on University Council
Publié le mercredi, 08 mars 2017
Following internal elections, PhD candidate Olivier Voordeckers will represent the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance’s intermediate staff on the University Council.
The elections were held due to the departure of Heleen de Geest who successfully completed her PhD in December 2016.
Olivier joined the FDEF in September 2015 as a PhD candidate in law under the supervision of Associate Prof. Silvia Allegrezza. He previously studied law at the University of Namur, Belgium, as well as completing his LL.M. in European Banking and Financial Law at the University of Luxembourg.
The change will be effective as of 15 March 2017.
Olivier’s substitute will be Carsten Ullrich, who joined the FDEF in December last year as a PhD candidate in the framework of the Doctoral Training Unit on Enforcement in Multi-Level Regulatory Systems (DTU REMS) under the supervision of Prof. Mark Cole.
Carsten was also elected representative of the intermediate staff at the FDEF’s Faculty Council. Elections were held following the departure of Clémentine Boulanger who also successfully completed her PhD.
Loren Jolly, PhD candidate in law under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Braum, will be Carsten’s substitute on the Faculty Council.
We congratulate all candidates on their appointment and wish them much success in fulfilling their new responsibility.
